 Too much designing...
One person can only spend so much time designing in one day until everything else they do turns out like shit.
Anyone else know what I'm talking about?

Yup, it's the classic burnout. Whether it's artistic, research, or just general work, too much of it at once is bound to trash your motivation. No matter how badly you want to power through everything and just be done with it, sometimes you've gotta give yourself a break.

 Re: Too much designing...
Out of curiosity, are you referencing the work you're doing for the forums, or just designing in general? If it's for the forums, at least you don't have a definite, concrete deadline to hit.

Nah, that was more for my Multimedia class. I was pretty much brain dead for ideas on what I should do for my flash site. That and some freelance stuff.

 Re: Too much designing...
sometimes the best thing we can get is a fresh st of eyes on our projects. So what are you working on?
And have you ever had a client want something done on a website/flash page that you refused due to idiocy on their part???

 Re: Too much designing...
Sadly I will usually just do it. Money is money, if people want bad design, I'm not really at the level to tell them no, I want to get paid (although I will try and change their mind)
